Dear Industrial Partner:
Thank you for your interest and participation for the 2018 IEEE NSS/MIC/RTSD in Sydney, Australia.
The registration for the 2018 IEEE NSS MIC Industrial Exhibit will open at 12:00 (noon CET) on 15 January 2018. The registration is entirely online with interactive booth selection. To register your booth, please click the button below:
Order your booth here!
Double 3 x 6 booths will be only available as double until 1 May 2018. After this date, the booths will be sold as single booths. If you would like to be considered for an unsold “half of a double booth,” purchase a single booth and send an email to the Industrial Chair stating which booth you would like to have. On 1 May, you will be asked if you want to switch booths at no charge or keep your first selection. On 7 May 2018, any doubles not sold will be available as singles.
The 2018 IEEE Nuclear Science Symposium, Medical Imaging Conference and 25th Symposium on Room Temperature Semiconductor Detectors will take place at the International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) in Sydney, Australia, from 10 to 17 November 2018. This joint conference has historically been one of the largest and most important technical meetings in the field of radiation detection instrumentation and signal processing for high energy physics, medical imaging, photon science, space applications, homeland security, and much more. It always attracts the active participation of an international group of world-class scientists and engineers who present their most recent research results and attend advanced workshops and courses. It will provide an exceptional opportunity for you to showcase your newest products and services and we hope you can join us there.
For the past several years attendance at the NSS-MIC and RTSD has averaged about 2000, and we anticipate at least this many in Sydney in 2018. About 75 exhibitor booths have typically been available which usually sell out well before the conference. In 2018, we will be able to offer 85 3x3 m booths that will be located close to the poster sessions and coffee break areas in the Gallery, enhancing traffic flow through the exhibit area and interactions with attendees. Details on the layout can be found in the exhibitor prospectus ( 1.8MB). A limited number of double booth reservations will be accepted. Special this year will be a triple corner booth – but only one is available. All reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t delay submitting your request!
To allow the NSS, MIC, and RTSD communities ample time to visit with you, the exhibits will be open from Tuesday lunch through Thursday afternoon, with time on Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning to set up your booth and on Thursday evening and Friday morning to dismantle it. To further enhance your networking opportunities with the attendees, a “Happy Hour” reception will be held in the exhibits area on Tuesday evening. In a slight departure from recent meetings and as a result of your feedback, this will be a somewhat shorter, earlier, and hopefully a more relaxing bridge between the technical sessions and dinner. The detailed exhibitor’s schedule is shown in the exhibitor prospectus ( 1.8MB). The Exhibition and Poster Session rooms are on Level 2. The session rooms are on Levels 2, 3, 4, and 5. You should not miss the opportunity to further increase your visibility to the scientific community by participating in the Exhibitor Technical Sessions. These will be held in conference rooms adjacent to the main session rooms during the time of the exhibition. Your presentations that should be aimed at providing basic technical information on the usage and/or performance of a product or service and be 30 minutes long plus 6 minutes for questions. These presentations will be fully integrated with the main conference program. The presentations can be submitted on the conference website: deadline 1 October 2018. The time slot will be assigned by the session chairman. Don’t be left out!
On behalf of the 2018 NSS-MIC-RTSD Organizing Committee and its General Chair, Prof. Anatoly Rozenfeld, I invite you to take part in this unique opportunity to present your products and to network with our world-class scientific and technical communities. Your active participation is crucial for the success of this meeting and we thank you for your continued support through your attendance.
We look forward to seeing you in Sydney.
